Whatsapp API pricing

Basically, the cost is calculated from two sections: Device and Message fee.

Device price is the Whatsapp instance for one day, the billing is created once this has been created, even the instance is stopped, it is due to the phone number is reservation.

Message price for outbound message is USD$ 0.0120 per segment. 90 characters (including UTF-8 encoding) is counted as ONE segment. If message characters more than 91, will be counted as 2 segments.

For any message type or message length of inbound messages, it is counted as one segment.

SMS API pricing

SMS price is calculated by segments, country and carrier.
The average price for $0.0560 per segment.

The maximum characters are 1377 for English, 607 character for UCS-2 (e.g. Chinese).
